Euchre event

Food distributi­on event

• Hope for the Hungry Food Pantry through St. Peter Lutheran Church of Macomb will distribute food from 1-2 p.m. May 18 at 24125 26 Mile Road, Ray Township. This will be a drive-thru event and those getting food are asked to show their driver’s license or state ID card. You should park in a parking spot in the west parking lot and wait to be checked in. Senior Service virtual hearing

The Area Agency on Aging 1B has scheduled a virtual public hearing at 11 a.m. May 11. The Annual Implementa­tion Plan public hearing will consider feedback on plans for spending $26 million during fiscal year 2024 in the six-county region served by the agency, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair and Washtenaw counties.The draft plan will be available for review at aaa1b.org Older adults, family caregivers, senior advocates, senior care profession­als and any other interested members of the public are invited to attend the forum and to offer comment. The fiscal year runs from Oct. 1, 2023, to Sept. 30, 2024.
