Free online art classes for kids
East Maui Watershed Partnership has joined with professional artist and teacher Maggie Sutrov to offer free online art classes for kids on native animals.
These classes are to inspire kids to enter Malama Wao Akua, a juried native species art exhibit held in collaboration with Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center, Sept. 18-Nov. 6.
Classes will be held Thursday for ages 6-8 and Friday for ages 9-12. For more information on the exhibit, visit mala amawaoakua.org.
