Latest developmen­ts:

■ State Department of Health reported 122 new cases Friday, including 87 on Oahu, 21 on Hawaii island, six on Maui, and one each on Lanai and Kauai. Six Hawaii residents were diagnosed out of state.

■ There now have been 15,691 cases statewide, including 13,596 on Oahu, 1,375 in Hawaii County, 544 in Maui County (421 on Maui, 17 on Molokai and 106 on Lanai) and 68 in Kauai County. A total of 107 cases have been diagnosed out of state. As a result of updated informatio­n, one case from Oahu and two from Hawaii island were removed from the counts.

■ No deaths were reported Friday. There remain 219 deaths statewide – 170 on Oahu, 31 in Hawaii County, 17 in Maui County and one out of state.

■ The first internatio­nal flight under the Safe Travels Program arrived on Oahu Friday with 64 travelers from Japan on an All Nippon Airways flight from Haneda Airport in Tokyo. The visitors were the first to take part in the state’s pretravel testing program that now includes both domestic trans-Pacific travelers and those from Japan.

■ A total of 1,889 people arrived on Maui from out of state on Thursday, including 129 returning residents.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on identifyin­g COVID-19:

■ Fever and cough are symptoms.

■ Most people have mild illness and are able to recover at home. If you think you may have been exposed to COVID-19, contact your health care provider immediatel­y.

■ Keep track of symptoms.

■ If you have an emergency warning sign (including trouble breathing), get medical attention right away.

■ Some people who are not showing symptoms could have the illness.

Methods for preventing illness include:

■ Washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating and after noseblowin­g, coughing or sneezing.

■ If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol.

■ Avoiding touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

■ Avoid contact with people who are sick; stay home if sick.

■ Wear a face mask in public settings. The mask is intended to protect others.

■ Social distancing: Stay 6 feet apart from others.

■ Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertop­s, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets and sinks.
