Latest developments:
■ State Department of Health on Friday reported 155 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 72 cases on Oahu, 30 on Hawaii island, 21 on Maui, 19 on Kauai, one on Molokai and 12 residents diagnosed out of state.
■ There have now been 83,987 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 57,766 on Oahu, 11,032 in Hawaii County, 9,899 in Maui County (9,513 on Maui, 242 on Molokai and 144 on Lanai) and 2,614 on Kauai. A total of 2,676 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.
■ Five deaths were reported Friday; the statewide fatality count is now 896.
■ Honolulu County is averaging 66 new cases a day and a test positivity rate of 1.8 percent, followed by Hawaii County at 30 cases and 4 percent, Kauai County at 14 cases and 3.9 percent and Maui County at 13 cases and 1.7 percent.
■ Hawaii has reached a 71.2 percent vaccination rate statewide, with Honolulu County at 74 percent, Kauai and Hawaii counties at 67 percent and Maui County at 64 percent.
