Government overreach worst in the nation

-

A lunch lady at school was fired by Gov. David Ige in August because the Department of Education refused to accept her request for a vaccination exemption based on her religious beliefs.

Now, six months later, the governor has changed his mind and is dropping the vaccine mandate for state workers, and they say she can now reapply for her old position, which is gone.

We have lived through the worst government overreach in the nation. We are now the last state to require masking.

We were one of the only states to mandate the vaccine for government employees. We shut down restaurants, bars and libraries to the unvaccinated. For two years, we discouraged or prohibited millions of tourists from vacationing here. The economy is broken. Families are broken. Our spirit is broken.

The pandemic is over because the virus is now endemic, meaning it will be with us always. The reason for lifting the government mandates currently is the upcoming election in November.

Joe Biden's Democrats are about to become victim of their own political overreach because the American electorate is not as stupid as they think.

Democrats maliciously used the COVID19 crisis to get rid of our former president, then once in power, used it to force their brand of “science” down our throats.

Of course, in Hawaii, the Democratic Party will continue their stranglehold on all state politics.
