Police to hold car wash fundraiser

-

Police will hold a car wash Saturday in the former Kmart parking lot as part of a donation drive for the Maui Food Bank.

Donations of nonperishable food or cash will be accepted during the car wash from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 424 Dairy Road in Kahului.

Donations also can be made at police stations on Maui, Molokai and Lanai. Online monetary donations can be made at give.classy.org/Police.

The event is part of the Battle of the Badges food drive, with the Maui Police Department and Maui Fire Department competing to see who can raise the most donations for the Maui Food Bank this month.
