• Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson reportedly tests positive for COVID-19.

-

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has tested positive for COVID-19, multiple media outlets reported Thursday.

Citing anonymous sources, ESPN and

NFL Network reported that the reigning

NFL MVP is among the four latest

Baltimore players and one staff member to test positive on Thursday, the same day the team was to play the Pittsburgh Steelers. On Wednesday, that game was moved from its Thanksgiving prime-time spot to Sunday because of the Ravens’ continuing virus outbreak.

The latest positive tests now put the game in doubt. A source told ESPN that Ravens coach John Harbaugh told players that they would not be allowed back to the team facility until Monday at the earliest.

Baltimore was already expected to be without running backs J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram, along with defensive tackle Brandon Williams, all of whom are on reserve/COVID19 list.

If the reports on Jackson are confirmed, that would mean the star QB would miss not only Sunday’s game — if it is played — but also next Thursday’s game against the Cowboys as he quarantines for 10 days.

■ VIRUS: Larry Fitzgerald and fellow Arizona Cardinals receiver Trent Sherfield have been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

The team said Fitzgerald and Sherfield were added to the list Thursday, three days ahead of their road game against the New England Patriots.

Also on Thursday, the Cleveland Browns placed defensive end Porter Gustin on the COVID-19 list, and the Denver Broncos’ No. 3 quarterback, Jeff Driskel, was put on the COVID-19 list.

The good news for the Broncos is that contact tracing showed that starter Drew Lock and the Broncos’ other QBs weren’t in danger of being infected by the coronavirus.

Porter became the third player to be put on the list in the past three days for the Browns.

■ DOLPHINS: Tua Tagovailoa’s sore thumb was better Thursday, and Miami Dolphins coach Brian Flores expressed optimism his rookie quarterback will be able to play Sunday against the New York Jets.

Tagovailoa hurt the thumb on his throwing hand in practice and was limited in practice for the second day in a row.

“He got banged up a little bit,” Flores said. “I don’t think this is something we’re too worried about. … He’s getting treatment, he’s rehabbing. We’ll see how this goes. It’s sore, but he’s a tough kid. He has played through some things before.”

Tagovailoa was sacked six times before being pulled in the fourth quarter of the Dolphins’ loss last weekend at Denver, but he remains the No. 1 quarterback ahead of veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick.

■ RAMS: The Los Angeles Rams placed leading tackler Micah Kiser on injured reserve Thursday, but coach Sean McVay says the injury is not season-ending.

The Rams’ starting middle linebacker will be sidelined for at least three weeks, but likely no more, McVay said.

Kiser injured his knee late in the Rams’ win at Tampa Bay last Monday, McVay said. Kiser leads the team with 77 tackles, along with three passes defensed and a forced fumble.
