St. Theresa’s holiday services set
St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church in Kihei has announced its Advent and Christmas Services, starting with the Misa de Gallo nine-day novena masses.
Each Misa de Gallo service will take place at 5 a.m. Tuesday through Dec. 23, with the exception of Dec. 20, when mass will be held at 7 a.m., 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
The church will also celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Advent on Dec. 19, with mass at 5 p.m. in English and 7 p.m. in Spanish.
Services are also scheduled for Dec. 24 and Dec. 25, with a Christmas Eve mass at 5 p.m., 7 p.m., 9 p.m. and midnight. There will be no 7 a.m. mass that day. On Christmas, mass will be held at 7 a.m., 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. There will be no evening mass.
Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph services will be held Dec. 26, with mass in English at 5 p.m. and in Spanish at 7 p.m. There will be no reconciliation on Dec. 26, the church said.
Mass the next day will be held at 7 a.m., 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
St. Theresa also has special services planned for the new year.
The Solemnity of Mary, Holy Mother of God masses will be at 7 a.m, 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Jan. 1.
The Epiphany of the Lord services will begin on Jan. 2, with English mass at 5 p.m. and Spanish mass at 7 p.m. There will be no reconciliation that day.
On Jan. 3, mass will be at 7 a.m., 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Meanwhile, the Baptism of the Lord services will begin Jan. 9, with English mass at 5 p.m. and Spanish mass at 7 p.m.
On Jan. 10, mass will be held at 7 a.m., 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Attendees need to register each week to attend their preferred mass.

Bishop Larry Silva has extended the dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass in the Diocese of Honolulu through Feb. 16.
St. Theresa said in a news release that it encourages all parishioners who can safely do so to return to worship at Sunday Mass.
