Latest developmen­ts:

■ State Department of Health on Tuesday reported 38 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 14 cases on Oahu, 13 on Hawaii island, nine on Kauai and three on Maui. One resident diagnosed out of state was removed from the counts.

■ There have now been 84,402 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 57,956 on Oahu, 11,122 in Hawaii County, 9,945 in Maui County (9,559 on Maui, 242 on Molokai and 144 on Lanai) and 2,666 on Kauai. A total of 2,713 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.

■ No new deaths were reported Tuesday; the statewide fatality count remains at 916.

■ Honolulu County is averaging 57 new cases a day and a test positivity rate of 1.5 percent, followed by Hawaii County at 25 cases and 2.6 percent, Kauai County at 16 cases and 3.2 percent and Maui County at 15 cases and 1.6 percent.

■ Hawaii has reached a 71.4 percent vaccinatio­n rate of the total population statewide, with Honolulu County at 74 percent, Kauai and Hawaii counties at 67 percent and Maui County at 64 percent.
