‘One Love’ at top of box office again
LOS ANGELES — Biopic “Bob Marley: One Love” is continuing to exceed expectations. The film has claimed the No. 1 spot at the box office for a second straight week.
The Paramount film stars Kingsley Ben-Adir. It pulled in $13.5 million during its second week of release. The project was produced for about $70 million. It grossed nearly $72 million domestically in North America.
“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba — To the Hashira Training” and “Ordinary Angels” debuted ahead of “Madame Web.” The superhero movie has struggled to find its footing after flopping last week.
Estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Comscore.
