ROEDIGER USES LATE COMEBACKS TO WIN JAPAN WORLD CUP

Roediger had last-minute rallies in both his semifinal heat and the final to take the men’s title at the event, the first of eight stops on the unified PWA IWT windsurfing tour. The final stop will be the Aloha Classic Grand Final, Oct. 23-Nov. 3 at Hookipa. Of his comeback in the final, Roediger said: “I felt like something good was good to happen to me, I was waiting the entire length of the final for that to happen, but when I caught that wave, I knew it was a good one. Everything changed.”
