Jill Biden’s book about W.H. cat, out in June

Jill Biden has written a children’s book about her White House cat, Willow, that will be published in June.

The first lady’s publisher announced Wednesday that “Willow the White House Cat” tells the story of how the tabby arrived at her new home from a farm in Pennsylvania.

The cat jumped on stage when Biden was speaking at the farm during the 2020 presidential campaign. Biden says the book offers a “cat’s-eye view” of what happens at America’s most famous address.

It’s the first lady’s third children’s book.

She published her memoir in 2019.

MyPillow owner evicted from work warehouse

ST. PAUL, Minn.—A court has ordered the eviction of MyPillow from a suburban Minneapolis warehouse that it formerly used.

But company founder and prominent election denier Mike Lindell said Wednesday that’s just a formality because the landlord wants to take the property back.

Lindell denied in an interview with The Associated Press that the eviction was another sign of his money woes.

He says his financial picture is actually improving after a credit crunch last year disrupted cash flow at MyPillow.

The company has lost one of its major advertising platforms and has been dropped by several national retailers.

‘Diarra from Detroit’ a fresh detective genre

One of the buzzy new shows of the spring TV season is “Diarra from Detroit,” now streaming on BET+.

The comedic mystery was created by and stars Diarra Kilpatrick, who is bestknown for a role on HBO’s “Perry Mason.”

Kilpatrick plays a woman also named Diarra who has a great date with a man she meets on Tinder.

When he disappears, Diarra refuses to accept that she was rejected and instead launches an investigation— leading her to quickly become in over her head.

Like her character, Kilpatrick is also from Detroit and her last name is known to many people there as her half-brother is the former mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.
