Coastal Cleanup Days in September

This year’s Mendocino Land Trust Coastal Cleanup will take place throughout the entire month of September, with an emphasis on each Saturday of the month, from 9 a.m. to noon. Big changes are coming to this year’s Coastal Cleanup Day. For one thing, it now lasts all month! Instead of the usual one-day extravaganza, the Coastal Cleanup will now span all of September. This year’s participants are encouraged to pick up trash within their own neighborhoods and nearby wildlands and watercourses in order to prevent refuse from eventually running off into our ocean. Due to COVID-19, there are unique challenges and risks. Please visit the Mendocino Land Trust webpage at mendocinolandtrust.org and read through all safety guidelines before participating.
