Institute for Music Education presents a masterclass with internationally renowned, Grammy-winning cellist Zuill Bailey on Tuesday, March 16, at 7:00 PM via Zoom. Authors’ Night at Gallery Bookshop

Online Exhibition at Mendocino County Museum soars into the world of the Albatross
“Albatross: Life on the Wind and Sea,” is Mendocino County Museum’s online exhibition from March 14 to April 30 and reflects the latest discoveries about these seabirds. Through colorful blockprinted artworks, sounds and videos of albatrosses, a virtual tour of albatrosses’ Midway Atoll home, and family-friendly activities, the virtual exhibit, “Albatross: Life on the Wind and Sea,” dispels myths and sheds light on the lives of these large seabirds, of which three species are found in the Northern Pacific. This exhibit will be paired with stories about sightings of albatrosses in Mendocino County. Grace Hudson Museum presents ‘Yosemite People’
The Grace Hudson Museum presents “Yosemite People,” an online exhibition, through April 11. The complex and nuanced relationships between people and Yosemite’s natural wonders come to life in this new online exhibition from Exhibit Envoy. The show features photographs from award-winning Jonas Kulikauskas, who brings his street photography sensibilities to the wilderness. The Grace Hudson Museum is at 431 S. Main St., in Ukiah. MAC presents Dorr Bothwell and the African Sketchbook through March 31
The Mendocino Art Center presents “Dorr
Bothwell and the African Sketchbook,” an exclusive sale of the Mendocino heritage artist’s original works, through March 31. This online fundraising exhibition features works inspired by Bothwell’s African travels in 1966 and 1967, and also offers a rare viewing of her “African Sketchbook” with artwork she created during her several months stay in Nigeria and her subsequent trip crossing the Sahara to Tunisia. The sketchbook was edited and published by Monica Hannasch in 2000 as a posthumous tribute to her long-time friend.
