Ask the Consigliere for the plan

Rack ‘em up!

Oh my! Milano Hotel and Bar team # 1, with Captain Jorge Ek, were tied with Tip Top Lounge for first place in League and had a must-win this night to remain in the running. They were matched with Welcome Inn team # 2, “Charla’s Angels.” Captain Linda Long and the team were in 4th place. Not all teams have a Consigliere. Welcome Inn’s Charla Bragga is the “Angel” behind the team of “Charla’s Angels”. Charla is also their Consigliere and had come up with a pretty plan. The Angels won the match, putting Jorge’s team firmly into 2nd place. The Angels for sure celebrated, but kept their cool, showing respect for the hard-working team that lost. Jorge tried to find a way to explain the loss, using a very old excuse, but it failed. The Angels were politely and rightly dismissive of anything that did not focus on how well the match was played. Listening “Tooth” opined, “in order, to be a good winner, you need to be a good loser,” and “Tooth” knows things. The upset loss by Milano team # 1 was a surprise, yet, we know one good roll can become a win, and one bad roll can become a loss. The “Angels” knew for a big game, you ask your Consigliere for the plan. Charla, from experience, has a penchant for nature’s basics and used basic ideas. That is how the plan emerged and listening to Jorge explain their loss, worked brilliantly. The entire team should put two hoots out.

Dan Casteel had been the top player all season. Dan got one bad roll in the last games of this season and lost, which led to a playoff for the top player. Luke Petersen won the playoff and is the Spring 2022 Top Player. Congratulations to Luke!
