Covid Vaccines, Boosters, and Testing

Mendocino Coast Clinics offers drive-through vaccine clinics every Tuesday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the white tent at 205 South Street in Fort Bragg for anyone aged 12 and up. No appointmen­t is needed. First dose, second dose, and boosters are all available. Parental consent is required for anyone under 18 to receive a vaccine.

COVID vaccines are available by appointmen­t for children ages 5 to 11. Call (707) 964-1251 to schedule your child’s vaccine.

COVID testing for people who do not have symptoms is available at the white tent at 205 South Street from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays. No appointmen­t is needed. These tests are shipped to a central lab for processing, and results are usually available from 72 to 96 hours after the tests are received at the lab.

The Adventist Health team has Moderna and the J&J vaccines all available through the Primary Care team located at 721 River Dr., Suite A in Fort Bragg. To make an appointmen­t, call the Adventist Health offices at 707-961-4631 and press option 3 to set a time and date available to receive yours.

Free Summer Meals for Children

Any child can come to Dana Gray Elementary School (1197 Chestnut Street) to receive a FREE BREAKFAST and/ or a FREE LUNCH from June 15 through July 14. Breakfast is served 8:008:30 a.m. and Lunch is served 11:00-11:45 a.m. Mondays through Fridays. Kids can just drop in during service time. If you are bringing a group please call the kitchen in the morning and leave a message saying how many will come, so they’ll have plenty ready for you at 707-961-3648.

Free meals are only available to minors during the dates and times listed. Meals are provided by Fort Bragg Unified School District and USDA. USDA and FBUSD are equal opportunit­y providers and employers. For more informatio­n please call Pilar Gray at 961-3521 or 961-2850.
