Pets of the week: Ocelot and Solei

-

We’re still getting to know Ocelot, born in 2020. This striking silver cat is feeling shy as he gets used to the shelter, and he may do better in a quiet, patient home where he can get comfortable over time. Ocelot gets along with other cats and loves watching the goings on of the shelter from his nest on the windowsill. He can also be found high with his friends, Tang and Gracie, in a pile of cats, especially on cold days. While he hasn’t been very interested in play yet, as he builds confidence, he will probably get more curious. We don’t know how he feels about dogs, although his shyness means he might not be a big fan. We also haven’t had a chance to see him interact with young children yet. We’ll update you on Ocelot as we learn more about this gentle soul.

Meet this crazy cute and sweet ten-month-old black-mouth cur named Solei. Like her name, she is a total ray of sunshine and could easily become your newest best friend. Her favorite activities at the shelter are playing with her other dog friends and going on walks. Solei will always be there to give affection and be a constant entertainment source. There will never be another dog like Solei. We have not interacted with her with cats all that much, so she might need a slower introduction to meet cats. If you’re looking for the perfect big family dog, then Solei is your girl!
