Need for compromise has never been greater

President Obama made a very profound statement in his speech at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday evening. He said, “Even when you’re 100 percent right, getting things done requires compromise.” He said it so quickly and didn’t repeat it; I think most people missed it. I wish we all could understand that this is not only a fact in politics but also a fact in everyday life.
