400 block of North Santa Cruz Avenue, 4:11 p.m. July 22

Police arrested a male they say was prowling, in possession of stolen property, grand theft, burglary, vandalizin­g property, and unauthoriz­ed use of a vehicle.

16100 block of Shannon Road, 12:58 p.m. July 20

A male was placed under arrest for suspicion of vandalizin­g property valued at more than $50,000.

Lark and Charter Oaks, 12:06 p.m. July 15

Avehicle window was smashed and personal property was reported stolen.

400 block of North Santa Cruz Avenue, 2:15 p.m. July 13

A male was allegedly confronted by three others. One pulled out a knife and stole his backpack and cellphone. All three were arrested a short time later.

17000 block of Eaton, 1:30 p.m. July 13

Police came upon a vehicle they deemed suspicious, ran the license plate number and determined it had been stolen in Los Altos.

400 block of Emerson Street, 10:19 p.m. July 22

A cellphone was reported stolen.

FREMONT

43500 Boscell Road, July 22

A female was cited for suspicion of shopliftin­g at TJ Maxx.

NEWARK

5500 block of Cedar Court, 7 p.m. Saturday

A woman told police she dropped her wallet at an EZ-8 Motel. When it was returned, more than $300 was missing from it. A detective determined it was a male guest at the motel that stole the cash. He was cited and released.

7400 Mowry Road, 4:37 p.m. Saturday

Police say a woman had been punched in the stomach by a male who then stole auto parts at Pick n Pull. He was last seen driving away in a tan-colored Toyota Camry.

36500 block of Mulberry Street, 7:38 a.m. July 20

According to police, a male was arrested for possessing stolen property and violating the terms of his parole.
