15500 block of Union Avenue, 1:20 a.m. July 20 A 43-year-old man and 34-year-old woman, both residents of San Jose, were perusing donations at dropoff site when contacted and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. 15500 block of Los Gatos Boulevard, 5:08 a.m. July 22 A business was burglarized. Entry was made through a smashed door. 500 block of North Santa Cruz Avenue, 11:02 p.m.
July 24 A man caught vandalizing a wall with spray paint and photographing his work was arrested. The vandal, a 27-year-old Monte Sereno resident, was believed responsible for incidents at multiple businesses. 15549 Union Ave., 4:40 a.m. Saturday A 35-yearold Tulare woman and work furlough escapee was arrested on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle, grand theft of property and probation violation. High School Court, 9:28 a.m. Saturday Police arrested a 19-year-old Saratoga man who had an outstanding warrant for making death threats and for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. South First Street, 5:25 a.m. Saturday A strongarm robbery was reported. 300 block of North Capitol Avenue, 4:16 p.m. Saturday A robbery occurred. 12:42 p.m. July 27 A number of items were reported stolen at Palo Alto Commons. 275 Forest Ave., late July 28 Found property turned into police on separate occasions included keys and a debit card. 3700 block of Corina Way, 2:50 p.m. July 28 Items were stolen from a residence. 900 block of Newell Road, 7 p.m. July 29 A residential burglary was reported. Lytton Avenue andWaverley Street, 9:56 p.m. Saturday A stolen vehicle report was taken. 1100 block of Great Mall Drive, 12:12 p.m. Sunday A robbery occurred. 100 block of Marylinn Drive, 3:17 p.m. Sunday A driver was arrested after the officer who pulled him over for a traffic violation recognized a familiar odor oozing from the car. The 26year-old San Jose resident was subsequently booked on suspicion of possession and transportation of marijuana for sale, for driving without a license and providing a false name, and probation violation.
