Vote no on Measure A and future tax hikes
Bravo to columnist Scott Herhold for his very useful and timely column, “Voters need to know: A bond does equal a tax” (Page 1B, Aug. 23).
Herhold educates and warns taxpayers about such insidious and disingenuous practices to raise our taxes. We taxpayers are already paying outrageously increasing property tax due to the increased assessed values of our properties. Yet our taxes are being increased every year.
As if that is not enough, the powers-that-be want to scam us out of more money. Hundreds of additional dollars for the next 30 years. This is outrageous. Please say no to Measure A as well as any future measure that has to do with bonds or parcel tax. They all mean the same thing: deceitful hidden tax increases.
