Stanford earned a 14999 victory over Washington State highlighted by Avery Aquatic Center records from Olympic gold medalists Katie Ledecky and Simone Manuel. Ledecky, a freshman in her first home meet, broke the 200-yard free record at 1:44.18 to eclipse Manuel’s mark of 1:44.34 from 2015 and later set the 500 free record in 4:36.43. Manuel set the new mark in the 100 free in 48.00.
