Federal government is showing its hypocrisy

Does anyone in Washington, D.C., want to get anything done? Let me understand the latest foolery out of our nation’s capital. A highly qualified person has to withdraw his nomination for labor secretary because he didn’t pay the IRS taxes on their hired help. The hypocrisy in that town is over the moon. I would bet that the majority of Americans pay their hired help in cash or at least don’t report the outlay to the IRS. But if someone wants to work in government, such actions disqualify them. Meanwhile, the borders are open, and the security of our nation is of no concern to these politicians. . Heaven help us.
