Dual-immersion charter wins renewal

The Franklin-McKinley school board in San Jose on Tuesday approved renewing the charter of Voices College-Bound Language Academy for five years. The school is one of three Spanish-English dualimmersion schools that Voices runs in Santa Clara County. It opened in 2007 and has 600 families on its waiting list.
