600 block of East Hamilton Avenue, 3: 50 p.m. April 28 A 23-year-old was caught shopliftin­g. 200 block of South First Street, late April 28 Someone entered a vehicle and stole personal property. A similar incident occurred approximat­ely the same time on the 100 block of Bismarck Drive. 14000 block of South Bascom Avenue, late April 27 Police say someone stole a copper pipe. 1600 block ofWest Campbell Avenue, between 5: 30 a.m. and noon April 27 A vehicle was entered and personal property was stolen. 500 block of Railway Avenue, April 25 Two bicycles were reported stolen.

PALO ALTO

400 block of Lytton Avenue, 9: 01 p.m. April 28 Property was stolen from a vehicle after its window was shattered. 400 block of Portage Avenue, 3 p.m. April 28 Someone stole a backpack. 4000 block of Fabian Street, 9: 09 pm. April 28Acar window was smashed and items were stolen. Two similar incidents occurred an hour earlier on the 400 block of Cambridge Avenue and on the 800 block of High Street. 100 block of El Camino Real, 7: 41 p.m. April 28 Police say someone stole a purse. 2600 block of El Camino Real, 7: 47 p.m. April 28 According to police, someone broke a car window and stole property. 3400 block of Ross Road, 9: 59 a.m. April 27 Someone reportedly stole property.

MENLO PARK

400 block of Pope Street, 11: 07 a.m. April 28 According to police, a shirtless man walked onto a school campus where children were in the playground. A witness called police and said the man was acting erraticall­y. The man than confronted her and spat in her face. Upon arrival, officers attempted to detain him but the man refused to comply. Finally, an officer deployed a taser to subdue him.

NewParkSun­day A Mall, 24-year-old7: 20 p.m. woman shopliftin­g.was issued a citation for 7200 Avenue, block8: 55 of a.m. Thornton Sunday Police say someone stole a 2004 Toyota Camry. 36100 block of Toulouse Street, 8: 16 a.m. Sunday According to police, two vehicles were reported stolen. 35000 block of Newark Boulevard, 6: 52 a.m. Sunday A purse was stolen from within Starbucks. NewPark Mall, 5: 52 p.m. Saturday Police cited a 20year-old man for shopliftin­g. 39900 block of Balentine Drive, 10: 03 a.m. Saturday A car parked at Double Tree Hotel was burglarize­d and a purse containing cash and credit cards was stolen.
