Woman reports being raped at Stanford University

STANFORD UNIVERSITY » A woman told police she was raped early Wednesday morning at Stanford University.

The alleged rape oc- curred about 1:30 a.m. at a student residence on the west side of campus, police said.

The suspect and victim are acquaintances, police said.

The victim described the suspect as a light- skinned black man, 6-foot- 3, 180 pounds and about 53 years old, police said. He also had brown hair and brown eyes.

Additional details about the alleged rape were not immediately available Wednesday night.
