Monday: Police cited a 43-year-old man for a shoplifting incident at Macy’s. Several hours earlier, a 67-year-old man was placed under arrest for stealing at Macy’s. 2000 block of Newpark Mall, 4:03 p.m. Monday: According to police, someone broke into a vehicle and stole a laptop computer, clothing and a backpack. 38500 block of Rockrose Court, 4 p.m. Monday: Someone entered a home and reportedly stole jewelry.
Redwood City Broadway, 9:37 a.m. Saturday: According to police, someone used a hidden key to enter a business and stole cash from a register. El Camino Real, 3:06 p.m.
Aug. 5: A man with a ponytail approached another and asked him a few questions. When that man failed at try- ing to grab the other man’s phone, he punched him in the face and then fled. p.m. Aug. 4: Police said someone switched his car battery with one of the store’s batteries, using a knife to cut it free. He was cited after trying to flee.
