700 block of Emerson Street, 7:17 p.m. Aug. 10: Police said someone broke into a business and stole items. 100 block of El Camino Real, 2:34 p.m. Aug. 9: A purse was reported stolen.

Menlo Park

1000 block of Ringwood Avenue, 4:50 a.m. Friday: A resident told police someone broke into his home, held him at knife point and then robbed him. The resident said he managed to escape to a neighbor’s home and called the police. Within minutes, officers surrounded the area, found the burglar and arrested him.

Fremont

2700 block of Mowry Avenue, 10:45 p.m. Aug. 9: Police arrested a 56-year- old woman for trespassin­g after refusing to leave. Fremont Boulevard and Decoto Road, 8:36 a.m.

Aug. 9: A woman was pulled over after police ran a check on the license plate of a silver 1999 Acura and determine the registrati­on tabs were false. The woman was arrested after police found stolen packages in her possession.

Redwood City

Broadway, 9:55 a.m. Aug. 10: A man walked into a store and stole a bottle of wine. Brewster Avenue, 6:46 p.m. Aug. 10: Someone stole a vehicle. Marshall Street, 11:09 a.m. Aug. 10: According to police, a man on a bike was screaming at passersbys and throwing rocks.

Broadway, 11:07 a.m. Aug. 10: Two men walked into a store and stole beer before fleeing on foot. Broadway, 10:58 p.m. Aug. 7: Someone stole a wallet from a locker. Westmorela­nd Avenue, 12:24 p.m. Aug. 7: According to police, someone broke into a home and stole video games, a computer and cash. Seventeent­h Avenue, 7:48 a.m. Aug. 7: The owner of a vehicle told police she saw evidence that someone burglarize­d her vehicle. Devonshire, 6:36 a.m. Aug. 7: A bicycle was reported stolen.

Foster City

Chess Drive, 11:59 a.m. Aug. 10: Police said someone broke into a vehicle. It was unclear if property was stolen.
