“Happy Death Day” (PG13):

In a hor­ror twist on “Ground­hog Day,” a col­lege stu­dent ex­pe­ri­ences her death over and over again un­til she un­masks her mur­derer. With Jes­sica Rothe, Is­rael Brous­sard and Ruby Mo­dine. Di­rected by Christo­pher Lan­don.

“The Meyerowitz Sto­ries (New and Se­lected)” (Un­rated):

Sib­lings in an es­tranged fam­ily gather in New York for an event cel­e­brat­ing the artis­tic work of their fa­ther. With Adam San­dler, Ben Stiller and Dustin Hoff­man. Writ­ten and di­rected by Noah Baum­bach. Opens in lim­ited the­atri­cal re­lease, and de­buts on Net­flix.

“So B. It” (PG-13):

A 12-year-old girl who lives with her men­tally dis­abled mother trav­els across the coun­try to learn about their past. With Talitha Bate­man, Al­fre Woodard and Cloris Leach­man. Adapted from a novel by SarahWeeks. Di­rected by Stephen Gyl­len­haal. In lim­ited re­lease.
