The real conspirator is in the White House

Some talking heads on TV decry President Donald Trump’s rants as based on “conspiracy theories.” The truth is that real conspiracies abound, and Trump himself is engaged in a conspiracy to steal a second term — using the U.S. Supreme Court.

The main game plan is evident from a reading of the 12th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution (added in 1804). If, for any reason, including court intervention, no candidate for president receives enough votes in the Electoral College, the president is chosen by the House of Representatives on Jan. 6: one vote per state. Republicans hold a majority of House seats in the needed 26 states.
