GOP’s poor track record on judging qualifications

Incredibly, the GOP is poised to challenge President- elect Joe Biden’s pick for Secretary of Defense, Gen. Lloyd Austin. They will be challenging his qualifications.

These are the same people who remained silent when Jared Kushner was deemed qualified to serve as senior advisor to the president; the same people who said nothing when Ivanka Trump was deemed qualified to attend overseas forums for her father and accompany her father to meetings with world leaders.

Flip it and imagine the GOP reaction if President Barack Obama tried to pull this while in office. The GOP leadership has a lot to answer for; History will not be kind to them, nor should it be.
