Dolores Spence

August 10, 1027 - December 15, 2020 Los Gatos, CA

Dolores Elizabeth (Olivieri) Spence, age 93, passed peacefully in her sleep on December 15, 2020. She was surrounded by the love of her children at the time.

Dee, as she was known throughout her life, was a long time resident of Los Gatos, California and a loyal member of St Marks Episcopal Church. Born in Gilroy, California on August 10, 1927, she met and married Davis T. Spence in 1947 and had three children, Eric, Cynthia and Teri. She was a devoted wife and mother. Once her children were school age, she enrolled at West Valley College and went on to get a bachelor’s degree in Art from San Jose State.

Other than her children, Dee is survived by her siblings, Norma, Margie, Janice and Ernest, her daughter in law Stacey, her three grandsons, Jameson, Sampson and Hunter and her long time companion Joe Bacigalupo.

Memorial services will be held at a future date.
