Ducks rally for OT win

Anaheimtak­es 3- 0 series lead; Wild gains edge on Blues

Rickard Rakell scored 5: 12 into overtime to lift the Anaheim Ducks over the Winnipeg Jets 5- 4 on Monday for a 3- 0 lead in their playoff series.

Jakob Silfverber­g scored and added two assists for the Ducks in regulation. Ryan Kesler, Corey Perry and Cam Fowler also scored for Anaheim. Kesler’s goal tied the game with 2: 14 remaining in the third period.

Fired up for the first NHL playoff game in town in 19 years, Jets fans booed Perry off the ice in warmups and cheered every icing call against the Ducks.

For the third straight game, Winnipeg blew a thirdperio­d lead and in the process became the first team in NHL history to lose the first three of a series when leading at the second intermissi­on each time, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Wild 3, Blues 0: Devan Dubnyk made 17 saves, Jason Pominville and Zach Parise scored second- period goals, and Minnesota beat St. Louis to take a 2- 1 series lead.

Mikael Granlund had two assists, Nino Niederreit­er added an empty- netter, and the Wild had the edge in every way, without being drawn into a single trip to the penalty box.

St. Louis goalie Jake Allen stopped 21 shots, but the Blues lost on the road in the playoffs for the ninth straight time.

Rangers 2, Penguins 1: Henrik Lundqvist stopped 23 shots, andNewYork regained control of its first- round series against Pittsburgh. Carl Hagelin and Chris Kreider scored for New York, which dominated for two periods then held on late to take a 2- 1 series lead.

Kings: Center Jarret Stoll is accused of having cocaine and Ecstasy with him when he was arrested on a felony drug charge at a Las Vegas Strip resort swimming pool, police said.
