19000 block of Ventura Court, 3:10-4:45 p.m. Aug. 17 Cash and a digital media player were taken from an unlocked vehicle. 18720 Bucknall Road, 9:15 a.m.-noon Aug. 18 A purse was stolen from a vehicle at Action Day Primary Plus. 13000 block of Loquat Court, Aug. 18-20 Jewelry and a safe were stolen from residence. Estimated loss was $110,00.

5700 block of Alpine Road, 6:45 p.m. Wednesday Someone in vehicle drove onto a property, shouted obscenitie­s at staff members and then drove away.

HALF MOON BAY

1400 block of South Cabrillo Highway, 8 a.m.10:20 p.m. Wednesday Deputies responding to an altercatio­n between two men during which one of them allegedly brandished a gun determined there was no merit to the gun possession part — only justificat­ion for arresting one of them, a 56-year-old local, on intoxicati­on charges.

EAST PALO ALTO

Unnamed location in East Palo Alto, 10 p.m. Sunday An intruder being sought since his encounter four months ago with a homeowner inside his Easton Road house was arrested. According to police, the 23-year-old Menlo Park resident was identified from surveillan­ce footage and DNA evidence left at the scene. Monte Diablo Avenue, 5:23 a.m. Monday A vehicle last seen at 9 the night before was reported stolen.

500 block of South Park Victoria Drive, 5:23 a.m. Tuesday A vehicle was reported stolen. 1600 block of Dennis Avenue, 10:16 a.m. Tuesday A stolen vehicle report was taken. 1100 block of Nicklaus Avenue, 8:59 a.m. Wednesday A residentia­l burglary was reported. 200 block of Pacifica Way, 9:56 a.m. Wednesday A residentia­l burglary attempt was reported.
