New neighborhoods planned at River Islands to suit many styles of living
Since its opening in the fall of 2014, River Islands has attracted more than 1,200 residents to its master planned community in Lathrop, just past Tracy. These first residents are enjoying a lifestyle unlike any other with an on-site, top-scoring K-8 charter school, a lakeside restaurant and bar, parks with such features as bocce and volleyball courts, play equipment and picnic areas and launches for non-motorized boats on neighborhood lakes.
Now the next generation of home designs are being unveiled. Two all-new model home neighborhoods have been opened, and floor plans and elevations for two future neighborhoods are now in preview showing. Three more neighborhoods will come to market by summer of 2017.
Summer House by Van Daele Homes offers the largest homes in River Islands with up to approximately 3,600 square feet and as many as six bedrooms. Master suites are located on the first floor or at the second level, and the
garages have extra space for storage. The most popular customizing feature in the Van Daele homes is the California room, which is offered with a full fireplace for comfortable use most of the year. The Summer House homes are priced from the low $500,000s.
Kiper Homes is new to River Islands but is well-versed in designing homes in waterside settings having built for years at Discovery Bay. The Kiper Homes are priced from the low $400,000s and surround their own neighborhood lake with docks and launches for family fun. The homes themselves have a sophisticated architectural sense and lots of opportunities for interior customization, creating dens, home offices, lofts and balconies.
Now in preview sales is Tim Lewis Communities’ Crystal Cove neighborhood, now selling from the builder’s almost sold-out Shoreline sales office. Crystal Cove is offering four floor plan configurations with two of the plans designed as single-story homes. So many homebuyers from the Bay Area are looking for a single-story home that the builder decided to focus on that layout, offering other such popular features as three-car garages (per plan) and home offices. The great room concept is an architectural theme carried out through the homes. The Crystal Cove homes are priced from the low $400,000s.
The New Home Company is now previewing its Tidewater new home plans from a trailer on their site adjacent to a neighborhood lake and a large park. Three new home plans, all in twostory configurations, have been designed in the Savannah style with clean, simple lines and a warm color palette. These homes, priced from the low $400,000s, offer four bedrooms and up to approximately 3,100 square feet of living space. Some have threecar garages.
