Two other similar events were reported in that same area. 800 block of Marshall Drive, 8:50 a.m. Saturday A bicycle was reported stolen. 300 block of Pasteur Drive, 9:45 p.m. Saturday Police say someone stole items from a vehicle. 500 block of Waverley Street, 11:23 a.m. Saturday A 23year-old man was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. 1800 block of Oak Creek Drive, 5:23 p.m. Saturday Property was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. 600 block of Kingsley Avenue, 6p. m. Friday Police say someone entered a car in search for something. 30 block of Encina Avenue, 6:20 p.m. Friday Someone stole a cell phone. 1100 block of Bryant Street, 9:20 a.m. Friday According to police, someone stole a vehicle. 600 block of Sand Hill Road, 1:05 p.m. Friday A scooter was reported stolen. 300 block of Melville Avenue, 7:10 a.m. Friday Someone smashed a car window and stole property. 200 block of Colorado Avenue, 2:30 p.m. Feb. 9 Officers arrested a 20-year-old man for breaking into a home.

5000 block of Dorking Court, 3:30 p.m. Friday A vehicle was reported vandalized. 8500 block of Mahogany Place, 9:53 a.m. Friday A box of clothing was stolen from a vehicle. 7500 block of Braidburn Avenue, 6:33 a.m. Friday Someone entered a vehicle and stole tools. Newark Square, 8:49 p.m. Feb. 9 According to police, a man was seen smashing windows of a parked vehicle. He also threw a brick at the witness. NewPark Mall, 3:56 p.m. Feb. 9 A 19-year-old man from Hayward was caught shoplifting at Macy’s.

East Hillsdale Avenue, 7:01 p.m. Friday Someone who received salon services left without paying. Niantic Drive, 6:49 p.m. Friday A hard drive valued at $100 was stolen from a car. East Hillsdale Boulevard, 8:37 a.m. Friday Razors valued at $260 were reported stolen.
