Who Intacct Is

Intacct is the customer satisfaction leader in cloud ERP software. Our employees are helping to shape the future of the accounting and financial management software market. We’ve developed award-winning financial applications that help mid-market organizations reach peak levels of performance by empowering finance professionals with unsurpassed depth of functionality, realtime financial and operational insights, and the ability to automate critical processes. Through the hard work and dedication of our employees, Intacct has achieved the highest customer satisfaction ratings in the industry and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) named Intacct its preferred provider of financial applications. The talent and drive of our employees is a key to our continued success and the organization values the individuality, ingenuity and originality each employee contributes.

Award-winning company and culture

Intacct’s success continues to be recognized throughout the Silicon Valley and the company has been honored on numerous occasions throughout the past several months with top workplace and executive awards. Fortune and Great Place to Work included Intacct on their 2016 list of the Best Small & Medium Workplaces in the United States. Intacct was also named: a 2016 Best and Brightest Company to Work for in the Nation, a 2016 Best Workplace for Recent College Graduates, a Best Place to Work in North America in 2016, one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For, and one of The Bay Area News Group’s Top Workplaces for 2016—marking the sixth consecutive year Intacct has been honored on the list.

Intacct was also a winner of the 2016 Best in Biz Awards for Best New Product of the Year and the 2016 SaaS Awards for the Best SaaS Product for Business Accounting or Finance.

There’s only one reason why we’ve been recognized as an outstanding workplace. Our employees are key to Intacct’s success on so many levels. We succeed together because of what our employees bring every day.

The customer-centric culture

Intacct has, first and foremost, a customercentric culture. Every position in the company affects customers, and if potential candidates can’t appreciate this fact, then it’s not the right

cultural fit.

Further, prospects also cannot have an ulterior agenda; they must care about the customer.

How we hire

In regards to internal growth, Intacct tries to promote growth from current employees. There is a lot of lateral movement within the company, and we plan to continue awarding quality employees with growth opportunities and promotions for a job well done.

We also use a number of unique recruiting efforts. Roughly one third of Intacct’s hires come from employee referrals. We have found that Intacct employees refer those who they truly believe would be a great fit, and those they want to work with, and we look to find advocates within the company to help us recruit the right talent. Ensuring that a candidate is a cultural fit and sees the value of customercentricity is incredibly important during our hiring efforts.

Intacct is consistently hiring and typically has about 35 positions open at any given time. Most entry-level positions are filled by millennials as Intacct is especially focused on pursuing those with 0-3 years of work experience for sales positions. Intacct is actively targeting sophomores, juniors, and seniors in college nearby and has approximately a 50 percent conversion rate on interns. In other departments and roles, like product marketing or engineering for example, candidates often need to return to school after the internship is over, yet Intacct tries to maintain a relationship with them and recruit them for full time roles once their schooling is complete.

Intacct also recently started a Path Forward program. This is a 16-week paid returnship for experienced professionals who have left the workforce for care-giving and are looking for an opportunity to reestablish their careers. Path Forward is open to anyone who has at least five years of professional work experience and has also been out of workforce for a minimum of two years due to caring for a dependent.

Exponential growth

The last two years have been particularly

In preparation for continued headcount expansion, two years ago Intacct moved to an office of three floors in downtown San Jose and was at 60 percent capacity. Those three floors are now full and Intacct will be expanding to another new floor to handle the added growth we’ve experienced. Additionally, Intacct is also looking to add additional new buildings in India and Romania!

Intacct is proud to have built an outstanding, award-winning culture that enables employees to grow in their career, collaborate together, and drive exceptional results for our customers while allowing them to maintain a healthy life balance outside of work.
