Ka’ena Point Trail: This trail lies about an hour northwest of Honolulu on Highway 93 (although Honolulu traffic can be a lulu, so timing may vary). The trailhead starts at the end of the paved road; park in the dirt lot. Bring sturdy shoes, hat, sunblock and (duh) water. http://bit.ly/KaenaHike.
