S.J. March for Science was heartwarming experience

Participating in San Jose’s March for Science as a member of Indivisible San Jose was a heartwarming, enriching experience; one that gave me hope for our country’s future. We marched alongside a mother whose three children were wearing junior lab coats, alongside people from Fremont, Half Moon Bay and South County. We joined with senior citizens, families and those marching alone, members of the LGBT community — a diverse, engaged crowd — committed to saving our planet from climate change and the anti-science mentality of the current administration.

Thank you Rep. Zoe Lofgren for your heartfelt words at the rally. Thank you to Mayim Bialik for sharing your story, and to the other speakers at the rally. Most of all, thank you to the organizers of this day.

Now let us move forward together in protecting our planet.
