Orioles 5, Rays 3: Adam Jones hit a tiebreakin­g, tworun homer in the seventh inning, Hyun Soo Kim and Jonathan Schoop also went deep and Baltimore came back to beat Toronto.

White Sox 12, Royals 1: Matt Davidson had two hits and three RBIs in an eight-run sixth, and Chicago routed struggling Kansas City. Miguel Gonzalez (3-0) lowered his ERA to 2.00, allowing an unearned run and two hits in eight innings. Twins 3, Rangers 2: Brian Dozier hit a bases-clearing double as Minnesota ended Texas’ four-game winning streak. Phil Hughes (3-1) allowed two runs on six hits over six innings. Angels 2, Blue Jays 1: With the infield playing in, Cameron Maybin broke from third on contact and scored on a close play at the plate in the fifth inning and L.A. held on. Cubs 14, Pirates 3: Addison Russell set a career high with four hits, and Jason Heyward homered and drove in four runs as Chicago routed Pittsburgh. Anthony Rizzo had three hits to extend his hitting streak to 13 games. Brett Anderson allowed three runs, one earned, in six innings.

Brewers 11, Reds 7: Eric Thames homered twice to raise his major league-leading total to 10, Hernan Perez added a three-run shot, and Milwaukee beat Cincinnati. Rockies 8, Nationals 4: Charlie Blackmon hit a tworun homer in the seventh, Colorado’s bullpen threw three-plus scoreless innings and the Rockies ended Washington’s seven-game winning streak.

Rockies first baseman Ian Desmond had a productive workout Monday as he took 25 swings in the batting cage, ran the bases, fielded some grounders at first and shagged fly balls. He’s been sidelined since he was hit by a pitch on March 12. Diamondbac­ks 7, Padres 6: Zack Greinke struck out 11 and walked none in six innings, and Chris Owings hit a grand slam to lead Arizona over San Diego.

The Diamondbac­ks have placed right-handed starter Shelby Miller on the 10-day disabled list with right elbow inflammati­on.
