Media is only doing its job covering President Trump

Howard Myers (Letters, May 22) blames the media for negative coverage of Donald Trump. But, one only has to read his tweets or listen to his comments to realize Trump has no idea what he is doing. He practically convicts himself of obstruction of justice. This is not a media conspiracy.

Myers cites “scant coverage” of “Fast and Furious, Benghazi, Obamacare,” as the media not doing its job. But these have been covered ad nauseam. There has been a right wing, Fox News onslaught to vilify President Obama, Hillary Clinton and the left and create false conspiracy theories to justify supporting Trump.

We need to get to the bottom of Trump’s ties to Russia, not blame the media for reporting it. Bob Downs Saratoga
