QOMG. This happened to me a few weeks ago on Highway 101 between Highway 85 and Morgan Hill. Same white Ford truck, I think. Wish I had gotten a better look. This guy is crazy. — Bonnie Wilkinson, Hollister

ALast week a Highway 87 commuter wrote that he “moved into the left lane to pass another vehicle. I was traveling 65 to 70 mph. In less than a second a large white Ford (F150-F250?), was on my tail acting as though he wanted to run me off the road. This was a very dangerous situation and I immediately moved to the right to let this maniac pass.

“Instead, he moved to the further right lane and flashed a sign that said, ‘Douche.’ Please make your readers aware of this guy and get his license plate number.”

QThe story about a tailgater in a white Ford pickup? I think he terrorized me on Highway 17 near Interstate 280. I signaled and moved in front of him into the fast lane with plenty of room to spare. He got super close. After about a halfmile I moved over, so he moved over behind me, sitting on my bumper for another half-mile. Then he moved to the right, sped up and moved back to the left in front of me and hit his brakes.

He kept braking until we were almost stopped in the middle lane.

When I was able to change lanes to try to get away from him again, he moved in front of me again. At this point, we were only traveling about 10 mph. I was completely traumatized. I had to peel my hands off the steering wheel. Needless to say, I was in no condition to get a plate number.

Was it the same guy? Who knows, but there are some crazy people out there for sure. — Jill Prestigiacomo, Saratoga

AFor sure, and here’s one more.

QAs traffic keeps getting worse, I have noticed drivers starting to make their own lanes. I have been passed many times in slow traffic by cars speeding by on the shoulder, and even the center divider.

This fellow wins the prize though. I was in stop-and-go traffic in the slow lane of Highway 101 past Hellyer Avenue when a driver in a gray BMW sped by on the shoulder with his window open giving everybody the finger. — Dennis Cole, San Martin

ANot good, not good at all. The only thing one can do is remain calm, move into a slower lane, get a license plate number and let the CHP know. And don’t think all drivers of white Ford pickups or BMWs pull stunts like this.

I hope.
