Directed by Reginald Hudlin. “The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected)” (Unrated): Siblings in an estranged family gather in New York for an event celebratin­g the artistic work of their father. With Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller and Dustin Hoffman. Written and directed by Noah Baumbach. Opens in limited theatrical release, and debuts on Netflix. “Professor Marston and The Wonder Women” (R): The fact-based story of Harvard professor William Moulton Marston, who created the Wonder Woman character in the 1940s while leading a secret life with the two women who inspired him. With Luke Evans, Rebecca Hall and Bella Heathcote. Written and directed by Angela Robinson.

“So B. It” (PG-13): A 12-year-old girl who lives with her mentally disabled mother travels across the country to learn about their past. With Talitha Bateman, Alfre Woodard and Cloris Leachman. Adapted from a novel by Sarah Weeks. Directed by Stephen Gyllenhaal. In limited release.

“Take Every Wave — The Life of Laird Hamilton” (Unrated): Documentar­y on the surfing legend. With Laird Hamilton and Gabrielle Reece. Directed by Rory Kennedy. In limited release. “Loving Vincent” (PG13): Van Gogh-inspired animation takes the spotlight in this feature on Vincent Van Gogh. With voices of Robert Gulaczyk, Douglas Booth and Chris O’Dowd. Directed by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman. “Mark Felt — The Man Who Brought Down the White House” (PG-13): Code-named “Deep Throat” while an informant for Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein’s Watergate coverage, Felt — the associate director of the FBI — risks his family and career and keeps his identity secret for more than 30 years. With Liam Neeson, Diane Lane and Marton Csokas. Written and directed by Peter Landesman.
