Moved Mil­pi­tas a sig­nif­i­cant step closer to the Santa Clara Val­ley Ath­letic League De Anza Di­vi­sion cham­pi­onship, rush­ing for 213yards and four touch­downs in 25car­ries as the un­de­feated Tro­jans de­feated Wil­cox 42-17in a first-place show­down. Bracy, who has of­fers from sev­eral Pac-12schools and Notre Dame, scored on runs of 4, 13, 37and 9yards. He also caught a 52-yard screen pass to set up a score.

Helped lead the reign­ing Open Di­vi­sion state cham­pi­ons to West Catholic Ath­letic League vic­to­ries over Sa­cred Heart Cathe­dral and St. Fran­cis. Fin­ished with 21kills, five digs and three blocks in a 3-1win over St. Fran­cis and 12kills, 15digs and two blocks in a 3-1win over Sa­cred Heart Cathe­dral as Mitty im­proved to 18-4over­all and 6-0in league play.

East Bay ath­letes of the week Robby Row­ell, Acalanes Sport: Foot­ball

Opened the Di­ablo Ath­letic League Foothill Di­vi­sion sea­son by throw­ing for 311yards and five touch­downs as Acalanes im­proved to 6-0over­all with a 63-14rout of Concord. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound se­nior has thrown for 1,399yards and 25 touch­downs with only one in­ter­cep­tion this sea­son. He also has rushed for 157yards and a touch­down for a team that is ranked No. 16by the Bay Area News Group.

An­nika Dis­ney, Pied­mont Sport: Water polo

Class: Se­nior

Scored 41goals in seven matches, in­clud­ing 12in a 17-9vic­tory over Pi­nole Val­ley. Also had eight goals in a 12-11loss to Dougherty Val­ley and eight goals in an 11-10loss to Berke­ley. In ad­di­tion to the avalanche of goals, Dis­ney, a team cap­tain, had eight as­sists and 16steals for the week. Among teams that re­port sta­tis­tics to MaxPreps, Dis­ney be­gan this week ranked first in the North Coast Sec­tion with 81goals and fourth in points with 92.
