Six more wineries were confirmed destroyed Friday, as a sixth day dawned with fires still burning throughout Northern California.

Paras Vineyard, Roy Estate, Pulido-Walker’s Estate Vineyard, Sill Family Vineyards and Patland Estate Vineyards in Napa were extensively damaged, while Backbone Vineyard & Winery lost its winery and wine inventory when the former Cole Bailey winery, which it had taken over, burned in Redwood Valley.

That means at least 16 wineries were either badly damaged or destroyed in fires raging since Sunday night through Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino counties.

Paras Vineyard on Mount Veeder Road in Napa is believed lost after an Agence France-Press photo showed the main building on the family farm engulfed in flames and fire burning in the vineyard.

Roy Estate and Patland Estate Vineyards were caught in one of the worst fire zones, on Soda Canyon Road in Napa.

The Estate Vineyard of Mark Pulido and Donna Walker was destroyed, along with their residence on Mount Veeder, according to Christi Wilson, executive director of The Rancho Santa Fe Foundation. The Napa vineyard was one of three operated by Pulido-Walker. On the winery’s website, the property was said to “boast extensive kitchen and ornamental gardens as well as a producing olive grove.”

Photos show Sill Family Vineyards leveled by the fire. Owner Igor Sill told the Napa Valley Register by email, “We will rebuild as soon as we’re allowed to return.”

In a statement, Sattie Clark of Backbone Vineyard & Winery said, “Our winery burned to the ground along with all our wine made over the past five years,” but the family has hope that their house survived.

Other wineries confirmed to have significant damage include Helena View Johnston Vineyards in Calistoga; Segassia Vineyard, Signorello Estate Vineyards, VinRoc and White Rock Vineyards in Napa; Ancient Oak Cellars and Paradise Ridge Winery in Santa Rosa; and Black-Bone Vineyard & Winery, Frey Vineyards and Oster Wine Cellars in Redwood Valley.
