Was a perfect 8-for-8passing for 176yards and two touchdowns to help lift San Ramon Valley to a 49-7victory over Livermore.

Cade Carter, Clayton Valley Charter football:

Led the defense with 11tackles, including eight solo, as Clayton Valley ran its record to 5-2with a 40-0victory over Stellar Prep.

Erika Cates, Gilroy water polo:

Had seven goals, two assists and three steals as Gilroy edged Santa Catalina 13-12.

Julia Devine, Archbishop Mitty volleyball:

Finished with 32 kills, 13 digs and eight blocks and hit .446 to help propel the reigning Open Division state champion Monarchs to the Stockton Classic crown.

Mollie Ebertin, St. Francis volleyball:

Had 34 kills, 12 aces, 16 digs and four blocks to help lead St. Francis to victories over Sacred Heart Cathedral and Presentati­on in West Catholic Athletic League play. St. Francis began this 17-7 overall and 5-3 in league.

Grace Enright and Grace King, Menlo volleyball:

King, a junior outside hitter, had 48kills, and Enright, a senior libero/defensive specialist, had 53kills as Menlo reached the semifinals of the Southern California HUDL Invitation­al in San Diego. Both received all-tournament honors.

Jason Javier and Daniel Medley, San Ramon Valley football:

Javier rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown in seven carries, and Medley ran for 101yards and three touchdowns in 11carries as San Ramon Valley stayed unbeaten with a 49-7 rout of Livermore.

Emily McElroy, Foothill water polo:

Contribute­d 20 goals, 13steals and six assists over five matches, including four wins.

Theori Oliver, Encinal football:

Completed 12 of 18 passes for 170yards and two touchdowns and ran for 108yards and two touchdowns in 17carries as Encinal cruised to a 35-10victory over Hayward to improve to 7-0 on the season.

Nate Rutchena, Monte Vista football:

Caught four passes for 57yards and a touchdown in a 27-24loss to Granada in East Bay Athletic League play.

Kyle Sandell, Los Altos water polo:

Had 19 goals, four assists and eight steals to help lead Los Altos to wins over Los Gatos, Tamalpais, Carmel and Serra to improve to 18-2on the season. Among teams that report stats to MaxPreps, Sandell began this week leading the Central Coast Section in goals (109) and points (115).

Peter Stehr, Miramonte football:

Rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown in 19carries, but Miramonte fell short against Campolindo, losing 38-20.

John Torchio, Campolindo football:

Threw for 236 yards and two touchdowns as Campolindo defeated rival Miramonte 38-20 to run its record to 5-0 for the season.

Nathan Williams, Foothill water polo:

Had four goals, an assist and three steals in his team’s non-league 14-11 loss to Washington-Fremont.

Ryan Wright, California football:

Connected on 9 of 11 passes for 118yards and a touchdown to help California (4-3) roll past Dougherty Valley 49-7in East Bay Athletic League play.
