Bruno Mars, Halsey and Morrissey headed our way

- — Jim Harrington, Staff

It’s a huge week for music, highlighted by such stars as Bruno Mars, Halsey and Trey Anastasio. Here are your best bets:

Bruno Mars: Having performed in San Jose earlier in the year, the man behind such No. 1 hits as “Just the Way You Are,” “Grenade,” “Locked Out of Heaven” and “That’s What I Like” returns to the Bay Area for a Friday date at Oracle Arena in Oakland. Jorja Smith is also on the bill. Details: 8 p.m.; $49.50-$150; www.ticketmaster.com.

Halsey: The pop star performs Tuesday at Oracle Arena in Oakland in support of her chart-topping sophomore effort, “Hopeless Fountain Kingdom,” which follows the 2015 platinum-selling debut “Bandlands.” PartyNextDoor and Charli XCX are the A-list supporting acts. Details: 7 p.m.; $29.50-$79.50; www.ticketmaster.com.

Trey Anastasio Band: Local Phish “Phans” didn’t get to see their favorite group in the Bay Area this year, but they can still catch the band’s leader — who ranks as one of the greatest rock guitarists of all time — at the Fox Theater in Oakland Friday and Saturday. Details: 7:30 p.m.; $45; www.ticketmaster.com.

M.I.A.: The always entertaining British rapper visits the Fox Theater in Oakland tonight in support of her fifth studio album, “AIM.” Details: 8 p.m.; $39.50-$49.50; www.ticketmaster.com.

Morrissey: Sure, he’s earned a reputation for canceling concerts. Yet, that won’t stop (most) fans from buying tickets to see him Saturday at The Masonic in San Francisco. Details: 8:30 p.m.; $59.50-$95; www. livenation.com.

Hiss Golden Messenger: The North Carolina indiefolk act supports its latest offering, “Hallelujah Anyhow,” on Tuesday at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. Details: 8 p.m.; $18; www.slimspresents.com.
