49ERS VS. SEAHAWKS

- — CAM INMAN

SITE: Levi’s Stadium

KICKOFF: 1:05 p.m.

TV: Fox (Kenny Albert, Ronde Barber, Kristina Pink) RADIO: 680AM, 107.7FM (Ted Robinson, Tim Ryan) THREE KEYS

1. Beathard’s encore: C.J. Beathard earned himself a fifth-straight start by accounting for three touchdowns and steadying the offense last game, a 31-21win over the Giants. With Jimmy Garoppolo waiting in the wings, Beathard must stay focused to pull off what his four 49ers predecessors could not do, and that’s beat the Seahawks the first time facing them. Alex Smith, Colin Kaepernick, Blaine Gabbert and Brian Hoyer all lost the first time they opposed the Seahawks, albeit in Seattle on each occasion.

2. Track Wilson: Russell Wilson accounts for 82percent of the Seahawks’ yards (376rushing, 2,801passing) and looks as dangerous as ever. He beat the 49ers in Week 2 by scrambling and throwing a fourth-quarter touchdown pass for a 12-9comeback win. To help their suspect secondary, the 49ers need a strong pass rush against an offensive line that’s missing right guard Oday Aboushi and possibly left tackle Duane Brown. 3. Attack replacements: The Seahawks defense is without several key players who’ve tortured the 49ers in past games, including cornerback Richard Sherman, safety Kam Chancellor and pass rusher Cliff Avril. Starting cornerback Shaquill Griffin (concussion) is also out. That should entice the 49ers to attack through the air, but only if Carlos Hyde and the running game are sputtering and if Sunday’s rain isn’t too detrimental. On the flip side, the 49ers need injury replacements to step up at free safety (to-be-announced who that is) and possibly at right tackle if Trent Brown can’t go (possibly meaning Erik Magnuson’s second start there). INJURIES Seahawks: Out: G Oday Aboushi (shoulder), S Kam Chancellor (neck), CB Shaquill Griffin (concussion); Doubtful: RB Mike Davis (groin); Questionable: LB D.J. Alexander (shoulder), T Duane Brown (ankle), TE Jimmy Graham (ankle), G Luke Joeckel (knee), DE Dion Jordan (neck), DT Jarran Reed (hamstring), LB Bobby Wagner (hamstring), LB Michael Wilhoite (calf).

49ers: Out: FS Adrian Colbert (thumb); Questionable: RT Trent Brown (shoulder), DT Solomon Thomas (knee), WR Trent Taylor (ribs), RB Raheem Mostert (shoulder)
