Carnauba that costs

For well-heeled drivers, Mitchell & King of Scotland provides a highly specialized line of car-care products. The company bills itself as “the most unique and exclusive car wax artisans in the world” and based on the prices, there’s no reason to doubt it. For example, the company’s Ultra wax is blended with 78 percent Carnauba that the manufacturer claims is the hardest natural wax available. Each 200-milliliter (6.8ounce) container comes in a wooden presentation box and is accompanied by a bottle of anti-UV shampoo and “top-up” spray. The Ultra kit sells for $995 and is available at www.mitchellandking.com. Ramp up your ride

For years, the Race Ramps company has provided safe and affordable ways to perform basic maintenance around and under your vehicle. One of the company’s newest products, Rally Ramps, is designed specifically for smaller cars. They provide a 5-inch lift and they can handle tires up to 8 inches wide. Capacity is 1,500 pounds, although they weigh just four pounds each. At 30 inches in length, they store easily, too. Each set sells for $92 and can be purchased directly from the manufacturer’s website, www.raceramps.com.

The ‘write’ tool for the job

The Tool Pen, designed by Mininch, really isn’t a pen at all, but it is a multi-purpose screwdriver that you can carry around inside your pocket or purse, or in your vehicle’s glove box. The product comes with 16 different commonly used bits, including slotted (flat), Phillips, hex and star-shaped bits. Up to six at a time are contained in a mechanical pen-shaped aluminum case that also doubles as the driver (the bits themselves are made from milled carbon steel). The Tool Pen can be ordered for $69. Purchase from www.gallantry.com.
