“Homeland” — As Season 7 of the political thriller begins, Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) finds herself at odds with a commander in chief gone rogue.

At the end of last season, following an assassinat­ion attempt on her life, President Keane (Elizabeth Marvel) broke her promise to Carrie by arresting 200 members of the intelligen­ce community without bringing charges against them, including Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin). Having left her job at the White House, Carrie is now determined to take on the Keane administra­tion and secure the release of the 200. 9 p.m. today, Showtime.
